All tools in this Expo are free, open-source and available to anyone in any environment. However, please note they were built on, and are optimized for use on, our Metworx platform. Metworx provides the scalable software and support necessary to help scientists perform at their full potential in a reproducible, traceable and controlled manner through combining cutting-edge statistical software with the power of grid computing.

One of the key features of Metworx is that it gives users the capability to launch their own auto-scaling high-performance compute (HPC) cluster, often referred to colloquially as “the grid.” Tools like bbr and mrgsolve are designed to easily harness this infrastructure, giving Metworx users a simple interface for bringing the massive power of cloud computing to their modeling work.
